Industrial Molds hires new CFO-01/01/07
Industrial Molds Group today named John Kuntze as its new Chief Financial Officer. Kuntze will also be a key member of Industrial's executive team and participate in overall strategic planning. "We are extremely pleased to welcome John to Industrial's management team. He brings a broad base of financial experience and global expertise to Industrial Molds Group, as well as a solid reputation among the financial community and a deep understanding of Industrial's business," said Tim Peterson.


Industrial Molds names new Sales Manager-10/01/06
Industrial Molds Group today announced that Tim Peterson will assume the duties of Sales Manager, effective immeadiately. Tim Peterson, a long time Industrial Molds employee, brings a lifetime of moldmaking experience with him to the Sales Manager position. As well as Sales Manager, Tim will also be running the day-to-day operations of the Company for his father Jack.

Industrial Molds expands capabilities-06/01/05
In an effort to keep pace with expanding business opportunities and accommodate growth, Industrial Molds has installed a Graphite Machining Center and 2 new Charmilles Roboform 550 Diesinking EDM machines . All machinery is installed complete with Erowa ERS Robot Systems. This machinery brings with it an investment of nearly $1 million in additional manufacturing capacity and allows Industrial Molds to stay on the leading edge of Moldmaking technology.

Industrial Molds Group is pleased to introduce a new account manager for our growing business. Brian Fransen will assume the responsibilities as an Account Manager for Fusion International. Brian brings a high level of Pro-E part and engineering experience and depth to the Industrial Molds team.


Industrial Molds receives accolades-04/19/05
LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLA. (March 28, 8:30 a.m. EST)* Judges Award: Mercury Marine used DuPont Co.’s Zytel nylon to replace the housing on a fuel supply module for the Verado outboard engine that previously used seven different metals. The resulting component, made with tooling by Industrial Molds Inc. of Rockford, Ill., provides a 35 percent reduction in weight and eliminates 31 potential leaks. By integrating connections and seals, the unit also saves the company 13 percent in costs, even though the previous unit was made in Asia.

Pyramid Plastics Inc. of Rockford is the molder on the program, with final assembly of the module by system integrator Magneti Marelli Powertrain USA LLC in Sanford, N.C.

Industrial Molds is pleased to announce vendor selections for its automation initiatives. Industrial Molds announces new capabilities-08/01/04
Industrial Molds is pleased to announce a major manufacturing project designed to greatly improve manufacturing capabilities. Over the next 5 years Industrial Molds will be investing significant capital to automate its Carbon, EDM, and High Speed cutting processes. The addition of robotics will provide "round the clock" manufacturing capabilities without adding additional labor resources.
